1.summary

In today's class, we learned about the economy and society after learning about the good and bad effects of religion on our lives. Religion has a lot of good effects on us, but it certainly has bad effects, the professor said. For example, trying to maintain a culture that may not be appropriate from the current point of view (like the hijab culture of Muslim religion..) or sometimes people who are too immersed in religion ignore people who are not their own. Next, he explained by linking economy and society. I learned that economy is a social science and protects our resources from a functional point of view. And he said that the role of key countries is important to make the world economy stable. The element of the economy is capital, labor, technology, and entrepreneurship, and each role is very important. And as the economy grew, cities developed rapidly, which triggered urbanization and led people to mainly engage in manufacturing without doing much agriculture. During manufacturing, environmental materials are mainly used, and the earth's environment is deteriorating and rural areas are increasingly abandoned due to urbanization.

2.interesting

What I found most interesting in this class was that one of the things you said was, 'Capitalism will never end unless there is a very special reason.' This is a very natural thing to say, and it made me feel gloomy. If you think about it, I don't think capitalism will ever end unless there is a day when all the roles of money will disappear in the world. There's a saying like that. "If you couldn't buy happiness with money, wouldn't money be small?" This means that in modern society, you can do anything with a lot of money. I don't think it's ever going to get better and I think it's going to get worse as time goes by.

3.disscusion

What I want to discuss with my proud classmates is, 'Why is urbanization progressing so fast? What can I do to solve it?' In the case of Korea, I think the reason for rapid urbanization is that there is an urban concentration phenomenon of infrastructure and workplaces. I'm sure that if I ask people at my school, 'Do you think there is no place to play in Seoul?' I'm sure all the students will answer, 'No. Seoul is a famous place to play!' Among the cities in Korea, Seoul is well established enough to represent Korea as a good place to play. I also think that most workplaces are concentrated in the metropolitan area is the reason for urbanization. I have watched a local college student documentary before. In the document, students still remember the words, 'I'm so nervous when I graduated from a local university because all the workplaces are concentrated in the city,' and 'I feel like I'm being culled from society if I don't live in a city.' To solve this phenomenon, local infrastructure should be improved and workplaces concentrated in the metropolitan area should be distributed. It is also necessary to change social perception.
