1.summary
In today's class, we were taught about how people become socialized and social cohesion. Here, socialization refers to human interaction or human assimilation into an established society. As the professor says, we are all socialized by our family from birth. When a child is born and the child shouts, cries, or disturbs the room, the family scolds them, saying, 'You can't do that!' Then, the child thinks, 'If you do this, you'll get in trouble!' and reduces the frequency of that behavior. As we live our lives, we continue to interact with others and continue to socialize. We become socialized not only through interactions with people, but also through the media. Through the information power of the media, we obtain and apply a lot of information to our actions. As a result, we learn in what situations and how to act.
2.interesting
What's most interesting about me is that the question my professor asked me asked me, "Why did pink become the color of a woman?" Because I couldn't think of an answer even after I thought about it carefully. The reason pink is recognized as a female color is the result of large social customs and cultural influences. Until the early 20th century, pink was considered a color that did not distinguish between men and women. In fact, pink was rather considered the color of men until the late 19th century. However, from the mid-20th century, pink began to be recognized as a color related to femininity. This was shaped by several factors. In the United States, for example, in the 1940s and 1950s, pink was fixed as a color for girls in the children's clothing market. In addition, pink was combined with a feminine image as a campaign for "Lovely Pink," which is famous for its measles vaccination, was conducted on women. These cultural influences have come to be seen as a color related to femininity, love, romance, and more, and have continued to strengthen since then. After all, many social and cultural influences have worked deeply to make pink a woman's color.
3.discussion
What I would like to discuss with my classmates is why injustice creates a disturbance. First, inequality can lead to dissatisfaction and conflict within society. Economic gaps between the rich and the poor, or racial inequality, can lead to social tensions and conflicts. These conflicts can harm social stability. In societies with the second highest inequality, economic instability can increase. The greater the gap between the rich and the poor, the more social rejection or distrust can arise, which can also affect economic activity and consumption. Third, equality of social opportunity can be difficult in societies with high inequality. As people in the wealthy have more access to social and economic resources, existing power and capital may continue to be concentrated. This can limit growth and development in various sectors socially.
