1.Summary

The representative thing I learned in today's class was the characteristics of socialism and capitalism. In capitalism, the environment is out of the question. To be precise, I pretend to be discussing, but I don't really care. These days, when companies sell goods to people, they try to increase their profits by saying, 'To reduce environmental pollution, we will make and sell them with eco-friendly materials! So, I will raise the price!' The professor said that there are companies that are really concerned and concerned about global warming and environmental pollution, but he said that in order to survive in a capitalist society, the environment is polluted. Therefore, socialism as a characteristic of socialism is followed by many people's choices. This is the case in the case of the Republic of Korea, a democracy in which I live. Not long ago, there was a parliamentary election, and that election also selected lawmakers through the law of majority vote. Also, as a simple example that can be found around us, a physical education teacher may have said at school, 'What do you do, basketball or soccer, in our PE class? Let's do what many people do with their hands?' Remember? As such, it is common to follow the law of majority vote in Korea. Why? Because we are a democracy.

2.interesting

What was most interesting today was that the professor showed me a painting that symbolizes modern society. Each floor of the building had its own pillars, which people supported. The highest floor no longer had to be hard-pressed to support. Who could it be? They are the kings of society. They have high wealth, power, and jobs. It is the kings' men who are in the middle floor that supports their floor. Their men are pillars supporting the floor, but the king is small in number, so his men do not seem to have much trouble. The bottom floor is the poor who are neglected by society. The number of poor people is the largest, and it seems the hardest to support at the bottom floor. I think this painting is a picture that penetrates the times. Unless a world really like More's utopia comes, society will work in any era.

3.disscusion

What I want to discuss with professors and classmates is 'Is capitalism unconditionally wrong?' I have a negative attitude toward human beings in a capitalist society, but I don't think there are only shortcomings. Private property exists in a capitalist society. You can do what you want to do with your private property, and you try to make money to do what you want to do. And because it is really 'capitalism', supply and demand rotate through the efforts of people who want to make money, and the economy gains strength. It is also a system that is easy to reveal individual abilities because a free competitive system is established. Despite these great advantages, the problem of the capitalist system itself and the characteristics of some evil humans exert synergy, increasing the problems of the capitalist system. The government should come up with a way to save the advantages and reduce the disadvantages of the capitalist system.
